Árida pays homage to the Argentinian city of San Juan, located in the semi-desert Cuyo region, where cacti are abundant; a characteristic feature of arid habitats. Árida, inspired by the vegetation of the place, looks sharp and aggressive at large sizes but it also feels friendly at a smaller scale⁠—portraying the dichotomy between humans and nature. Árida comes in 5 weights, ranging from Regular (with a matching italic) to Black. The Regular variant contains 773 glyphs and its Italic counterpart is composed of 939 glyphs. Neuro X is a narrow sans serif typeface consisting of three weights with additional rounded versions and matching italics. It was first drawn as an exploration for a headline font and later expanded on to become a full typeface family. Neuro X explores the extremities of narrow proportions whilst also allowing for eccentric cuts. Frontage Condensed is a layered type system inspired by eye-catching and colorful facade signage. Its main aspect is — like many typographic installations on storefronts — three dimensional. The narrow, generously spaced letterforms lend the typeface a bold and eminent voice. The more ornamental layers like Bulb or Neon bring nostalgia to the family, while the Shadow layer maximizes the spacial impression. The system’s ten layers can be used alone or combined making the family a versatile toolkit. The use of color reveals Frontage Condensed’s full potential, yet for stark applications it works great in black and white too. Check the specimen PDF for examples. Hi. Introducing a new version of my one of the most popular fonts. Now Humblest Pro includes much more characters and has west european multilingual support. This font has a smooth and clean shape without any grain unlike the original one. Almost all of the capital leters has two version, for the begining and for the ending of the word. The final alternative letter will be automatically replaced if you type a big last letter in the word (check out if the "contextual alternates" opentype feature is activated). Decorative swashes are now a part of the font. To use this decorative lines just type an underscore character and the corresponding number from _00 to _39 (make sure that “standard ligatures” opentype feature is activated). Chicago Ornaments is a collection of decorative cuts cast by the Chicago Type Foundry of Marder, Luse & Co. of 139-141 Monroe Street in Chicago, Illinois. This collection was shown in their 1890 Price List. According to William E. Loy, at least some of them were designed by William F. Capitain. Chicago was one of the innovative Midwest type foundries, introducing the American Point System. These designs represent the late Victorian period. After 1890, with the posters of Jules Cheret taking Paris by storm, Art Nouveau gradually began to displace Victorian style. In type design, both styles competed against each other until about the end of the century. Designers may want to consider using these ornaments when using Victorian style typefaces, like our Cruickshank, Edison and Freak - as well as faces by others such as Karnac, Kismet and Quaint Gothic. Included in the font are a set of Dormer-inspired caps, numerals and a few other glyphs - also from the Victorian period.
