the font seems to have some sort of shadow but i cant find it anywhere, any help would be great

It's not a font. It's "Times Bold" with an effect on it, you can make such effects in many programs, i.e. Word.

Hi, how do you apply effects in word, i never used word for fonts before but would really like to do my husband some t-shirts with his company name on to match his van.
