Hi there! I would like to use the Bergamo Std, Regular font:

http://www.abstractfonts.com/font/14134

However, I am not sure how to understand its EULA. If I want to sell a book in PDF form using this font, am I allowed to or not?

Thanks!

Etienne

The EULA says this about use in a pdf:

EMBEDDING:

Adobe Portable Document Format (“PDF”) Embedding: Users may embed the licensed fonts into any read-only PDF you send to third parties. Such documents may only be viewable and printable (but not editable) by the recipients.

What is it you don't understand?

Thanks for the informative response! Basically, I was confused by the "no commercial use" part of the EULA.

Thus, selling a PDF with these fonts seems legal. Thanks for the help. Please let me know if I misunderstood.

Cheers...

The standard version is freely available from fontsite.com. The EULA allows for commercial use as for print and so. You may only not sell the font.

Still confused? Why not ask them?

Thanks! You've been a great help. And I really like cats.
