Font Identification Request: Resolved

I was wondering if anybody out there hasd this font of knew how to get it?

Hi,

It's a typeface from the times of Phototypesetting and there it`s called Othello. But it`s seems to be vanished from earth surface. What you can find now with the name Othello is another typeface (similar to Neuland and Lithographer). See also:

Bye Bye

Hi,

See:

Quote: That’s Othello - an 1896 ATF typeface for which I’ve never seen a digital font. It would be fairly easy to trim Macbeth * and be very close.

bye bye and thanks to Schwalbenkönig for the info

For show. Othello outline by Solotype, 56pt with a 1px stroke and then filled.

The Swallow did it again.

That’s nice, J, but Uwe found predigital Othello for himself. I just assisted to find digital substitutes. Credits go to Germany, without doubt.

I'm getting old, yep, the credits go to Uwe.
