It's for the word "Jamaica"... so something with an island feel to it? I'm looking around, but would love some suggestions as well. Thanks!

Hi,

I suggest a standard typeface for the european assosiation with Africa and the Caribic. This is Neuland (New Country) by Rudolf Koch. Freeware versions:

Neuland: NewCountry by Manfred Klein

Neuland Inline: Tribeca by Dieter Steffman

Bye bye

Hi,

@tophy52:Neuland inline or Africa...

The typeface Africa has no accent characters, german sharp s and umlauts. I would prefer New Country and Tribeca.

The commercial typeface-family Tambor might also be very interesting:

Bye bye

Thanks everyone, great suggestions!
