We have been trying to figure out this font, but keep coming up empty.

Paul found Big Noodle Titling.

It has to do with marketing, I guess.

A centered and perfect R logo would probably look too neat and proper and be overlooked.

An off-center R stands out like a sore thumb and may catch your eye. It does not look bad either.
