I have been searching the Internet for the font that MTV use for subtitling in their programs, but without any luck.

Do any of you guys know what it's called?

It looks to me like arial rounded with the character map for the special letters .... the a with the two dots is ALT +0228

Look at the lowercase "g" - clearly not Arial. I would say Flama (http://www.felicianotypefoundry.com/main/?page_id=10) but it's not.
