try pixel /bitmap fonts:

set them to a small size in your image editing program and turn off anti-aliasing...

No they are not the same. The first one is a 7px bitmap, the 04b03rev.ttf, the second one is a 9px bitmap. Which font? No clue. There are some that look like it but none with an e like this one.

I just looked through the fonts and figured that the first one was indeed 04b03rev. Like you said, I had no luck with the second one :(
