I cannot unzip the downloaded font files. I have tried winzip, windows XP uncompress, stuffit and zipfix. None of them recognize the files as valid zip files. I have also tried downloading them on a second computer with the same results.

The files seem very small, some as small as 8k with the biggest at 318k.

Any ideas?

that's a normal size for a zipped font file..

Just out of curiosity, what was the problem?

It was a particular setting for the Apache web server that was missing. Apache did not know how to handle files with extension .zip.
