am at a loss I need to find out the font of our logo, the design team who did it originally do not know what font it was they used. (helpful) it is quite distinctive in that the letter A is not crossed, but i cannot tell if that was in the original font or if it was removed in photoshop later

i dont have a larger example unfortunately.

Hi there-

This just happens to be one of my all-time favourites, so you're in luck. The crossbar of the "A" was either cut away in some kind of image or vector editor, or is (more likely) a flipped "V" character. So what's it called? Trajan Bold.

And so, there we are.

That's very interesting Viking. FontMatcher did bring up Trojan but I thought ... NO. Too light. I happen to have almost every thinkable variation of that type but not the bold. Where did you find that one?

Kat-

If you mean "how did you find Trajan Bold on this particular occasion", then my answer would be "such is the power of the eye, my friend...and the memory". If you mean how did I find the actual face, I didn't at first. Boba Fonts used it for the uppercase characters of their "Episode I" font. Discovered it, loved it, found out what it really was, and there we have it.
