Hello friends! I'm in desperate need of the attached two fonts. Each should hopefully be relatively easy to find. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Hi!

Upper Font: There's a font "Steelfish", that looks very alike.

http://www.fontseek.com/cgi-bin/fsearch.pl?search=steelfish&x=20&y=10

Lower font: I don't know.

;) Ute

CriterionCo.com uses this font heavily. If you want, I could come up with all of the letters of the alphabet, and someone else could create a font using them.

Also, isn't there a site where you send in a sample of a font and they id it? I searched, but couldn't find it.

the only downside to that site is that it only searches their database of commercial fonts, obviously... So you are not gonna get a match from the 20,000 free fonts out there...

i am thinking doing this as a project in the nearest few months or in the summer.. ( writing a pattern-recognition peace of software for font identification purposes )

take care

I Found the font, but it unfortuately is a commerical one. Here it is:

EF DIN 1451 Eng Neu - Is there any place where I might be able to download it and bypass the cost? ;)

(Actually, it isn't exactly right now that I look at it, but it is darn close!)

Sorry to post again, but this time I found what I think is the real font. Here's the site for it:
http://www.elsner-flake.com/ and the font name is DIN 1451 Mittel Alt Anyone know where I can get it for "free?"

Hi gcorp,
it isn't exactly the font, because I tried it.
But if it is good enough ... look here:

I did like the Steelfish font, and I download it. For that, I am grateful to ol' ute, but I need both fonts. Thanks for the other font, Ute. Where'd you get it???

Edit: Nevermind, stupid question. ;)

:D Oh, I wouldn't have answered the question. :D

For the "mittel" font just go to the same adress but change the "e" in the filename for a "m".
