Hello. I'm having some trouble with a font. I'm not a font expert by any means, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have a user who is looking for a font. She says its called "garmdBk_cn_bt". I haven't seen this font (she claims she somehow "lost it"). I have searched all over and have found many different types of garamond fonts, which is what I'm guessing this is. Can anyone tell me which type of garamond font this is? I would very much appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you in advance,

dawix

judging by the filename it looks like Garamond Book Condenced by Bitstream

i will try to look it up for you in a bit

Thanks for your help, alex. I got it down to the Garamond Book Condensed like you said, but am a bit confused about the "bt" portion. I see some fonts end in "mt" meaning monotype. Again, keep in mind I'm "font-challenged" so may be grasping at straws here.

I must say, I've enjoyed looking at all these fonts. Hmmmm.... perhaps you've attracted a new font addict. Just think what I could do with my website........hmmmm. :-)

Thanks again for all your help.

:D I Know what you mean! That's pretty much how i got addicted!

bt is Bitstream, which is another big font vendor.

http://www.bitstream.com/

and here are your fonts ( they are not free )

http://www.abstractfonts.com/fonts/search/full_listing.htm?kw=ITC+Garamond+Condensed+Book+

ITC is somehow realted to bitstream so even though it says ITC Garam... it is still from Bitstream

Hey Alex -- your the best! I appreciate all your work. I'll check this site out and get the font. I figured it was going to cost me -- oh well, it's the company's money, not mine. :-)

I will be recommending this site to my co-workers. Thanks again!
