Two Cents Plain JNL is a simple sans design for titling, sign work, display ads and so forth. The name is derived from the way folks in the Northeast used to ask for a glass of seltzer water at restaurants and soda fountains decades ago: "Give me a two cents plain." It was always cheaper to order plain seltzer than to have flavored syrup added, and this was especially true in the years during the Great Depression when every penny made a difference.

The lettering on the cover of the sheet music for 1919's "The World is Waiting for the Sunrise" was set in a decorative sans serif with an engraved line adorning each character. Reminiscent of the headlines of legal documents, way bills, stock certificates and the like, the digital version of the design was given the name Legal Eagle JNL and is available in both regular and oblique versions. A companion font without the engraved lines is also available as Junior Clerk JNL.

Sopi is a typography of ornaments, borders and combined frames. It was inspired by the design of limestone tile floors, located in different places in Buenos Aires. All characters have the same measure, which enables the possibility of any desired combination. In the case of edges or combined frames, the typography was programmed in a way that is possible to generate textures with 2 or more colors, attempting to rescue the colorful designs that were original thought in the limetone tile floor.

Party was designed by Carol Kemp. It is a wild, intoxicating typeface. The capitals can be used alone or as initials for the lowercase. Many alternate characters and ligatures are included, as well as a selection of party-themed illustrations. No better way to set the tone for fun than with the Party font.

Evening Edition JNL pays tribute to the ever-decreasing line of daily newspapers in this country by emulating the "wood type" look of the headlines. Way before the Internet took over as a popular information source, it was the morning, afternoon or evening edition of a paper that presented the big story of the day.

My son’s name is Ata Caner Yüksel. After building this character, I wanted to honor him by using his name for this font. I think it fully reflects the character I created in my mind. This typeface came out as a side idea while I was working on one logotype. Suddenly I came up with an idea of creating “tuned” version of the typeface, based on that logo. The “tuning” turned me in a completely different direction and in a few hours of haste I was looking at a completely different typeface. A few days later I made this font available for free, since it wasn't meant to be at all :-). A few months later, I saw my typeface used in the menu in one pizzeria. I was amazed and glad and happy and proud, all at the same time. Oh, by the way: the logo I was working on was of different style and even of another stem’s widths. So, this is truly a font of it’s own design. Naftalin has both Latin and Cyrillic sets, since it was used with both.

In a World War II training film from the U.S. Signal Corps, the opening title card saying “First Aid” was hand lettered in an extra bold, Art Deco inline style. Those two words (with seven available letters) used as a work model has inspired Film Reel JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This font was designed by blocks, square glyphs. Terminals/crossbars of some glyphs can be extended in a way that you can customize the text of your design by using the selection bars in "variable font" button. Birch Beer JNL comes from lettering spotted on a European business sign found in some stock footage that was used for an old black and white film about World War II. The name is derived from a popular root beer-like soda sold by the Royal Castle Restaurants that were popular in Florida from the 1930s through the 1970s.

Axelby JNL was modeled from a set of die-cut, self-adhesive cardboard letters from the 1960s. The design is reminiscent of some early wood type in the way it has letters of varying widths that do not conform to any set standard. The font is perfect for plain, easy-to-read and attention-getting headlines.

SusiScript is an friendly, informal typeface family with three weights, each with an oblique style. The idea for SusiScript came from a girl named Suzi who wrote her "e"s in a peculiar way. The typeface does not replicate her handwriting, which was very hard to read; it merely drew inspiration from several of her letters.

Chico was by designed by Javier Mariscal and Josema Urós specifically for the final roll of credits in the animated film Chico y Rita. The goal was to design a typeface with a good readability but that conveyed a strong script character and, in some way, tuned to the style of line used throughout the film. Using a modular sans-serif as a template, Javier Mariscal reinterpreted the forms freely, while maintaining gridlike proportions. Chico can be useful for comic-book lettering, editorial work and display applications.

It was a series of three different forts on various spots on the New River built during the Second Seminole War [in Florida] named for Major William Lauderdale. It was launched as the college students' spring break destination for many years thanks to the film "Where the Boys Are". It's the major city 23 miles North of Miami. But wait! There's more! Now it's an eclectic Art Deco-inspired typeface. Lauderdale JNL is based on vintage source material with many unusual letter shapes and angles.
