I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. I was cleaning out my pencil box and found an old marker pen. I wanted to throw it away, because it was leaking all over my stuff, but decided I could use it one more time. The result is Full Blast font: a ‘brush’ font (made with that leaking old marker pen). Use if for your fireworks packaging, fiery pepper sauce bottles and whoopee cushions (and just about anything else as well). Comes with an explosive amount of diacritics.

I have always been fascinated by the ‘Full English Breakfast’. A Full English usually consists of toast, baked beans, sausages, fried eggs, fried tomatoes, fried mushrooms and sometimes blackpudding (a kind of sausage made from pig’s blood). When I lived in England, my friends were always quite happy to stow away a big full breakfast, but I, on the other hand, could not really set myself to eating one. Full English is a hand made stencil font. If you own a pub and you serve breakfast, you could use it for your signs, but I guess this font looks good on anything that needs a bit of attention. I like cookies. Especially butter cookies and ginger nuts. The word cookie comes from the Dutch word ‘koekje’ - which means exactly the same. Cookie Crumble is a cute little font that I made on a rainy day. I just needed something that looked and sounded happy and I guess it applies to this font. Cookie Crumble comes with a bunch of alternates, a full set of diacritics and a bit of sunshine to chase away your rainy day.

This month I seem to be stuck in the ‘Baked Goods’ section. I released Bloomer earlier and now I present Cookie Supply! Cookie Supply is a handmade display font. It is a bit uneven, a bit rough, yet very friendly, cute and useful. I guess it works best with products or books for children. Or oatmeal cookies by the dozen. Or organic apple juice. Or…

Tall, thin, grid, legible and handmade! What's not to like?! The font was made using a squared paper as a base for the lines. However, I managed to keep the free spirit of the handmade look, despite the guides. Play around with the 4 different versions of each letter and the swashes to make your text stand out!

Yet again, a font inspired by my work as a kindergarten teacher! The other day, I had a conversation with some of the kids, about what they ate for breakfast. Some had oatmeal, some bread and others yogurt. But this kid - he insisted that every morning, his mother would serve him cookies, “morning cookies”. It sounded too good to be true, and when I asked his mother, it turned out that “cookies” were actually bread, but to make it sound more appetising, they called it cookies! The letters are rounded and in some way quite naive, but still clear and legible. With an extreme ascender and descender, the font stands out with its oddities. I’ve added 3 different versions of each lowercase letter!
