Mi negra is a funny and hilarious typography designed especially for children, thought and created by Isabel de Gregorio. It could be described as an original combination between a semi-handwright and semi sans-serif font. Thanks to its structure and nice endings "Mi Negra" is recommended for composing short texts (logotypes, packing, posters, etc.). It may similarly be used for illustrations and comics, as well as in printing press works for children from 6 to 13 years old for instance. This is a hand drawn quick-sketch font. I wanted to create a high contrast serif in a cartoonish, kid style. It contains basic latin western and central european language extensions and accents. Schuss Sans CG Poster 1 upright OTF Font Latin extended, Cyrillic and Greek. Specially developed for headline poster display sizes. A Sans Black Headline-Font in addition to the Schuss superfamily. The heights are optimized for big sizes, different to the text fonts of the Superfamily Schuss. The character set is slightly different to the non poster styles too. No italic, no additional figures, no tabular figures, no small Caps. But with maximum manual kerning. Ligatures: fi, fl, ff, ffi, ffl. No special OpenType features.

These four typefaces, Berlinette NB, Lyonette NB, Marseillette NB and Parisette NB, were designed from the same basic shape, a geometric form that avoids strict horizontals and uses more offbeat triangular shapes. Lyonette is a fanciful type, gentle and precocious. It seems aloof at times but isn�t really. The frivolity and quirkiness of the narrow width is offset by the fey, finger-like horizontals, vaguely reminiscent of strange encounters and dark closets. It�s great for fashion advertising with literary pretensions. Or maybe a kinder, gentler sci-fi movie.
