ITC Digital Woodcuts font is the work of Timothy Donaldson. Although made on a computer, each character has the look of a block of wood with a character cut into it. The forms are made entirely of lines, typical of how the result would be if they were truly cut into wood. Started during 2012, LCT Palissade is a letter type belonging to the Didone classification. It takes over the Italian characters from the XVII century. Century affected by a huge artistic and industrial mutation, we assist to the eruption of the railroad network and Turner’s paintings. In typography, the Didones(XVIIe) begins to concede the place to the Egyptians XIXe. We noticed an evolution to rectangular drawings, that were heavier and darker. LCT Palissade is in fact the study of a history flow, crossing through the industrial revolution and romanticism; the result of a strong letter type, solid, strict the drawing is orientated towards very dark, reminiscent of the characters beginning XIXe. The serifs are the summary between the British characters from the end of (XVIe) and the Italian ones beginning of (XVIIe). In order to spread out the romanticism, they are very fine to allow a largest contrast and keep the elegance of the global shape.

This Font is born basing itself on several standard typographic models. Inspired by our calligraphic drawings, the idea was to synthesize these many shapes into a unique font that can be used commonly. The slab base has been gradually humanized. The serifs have been carved, refined, rounded off, in order to galvanize the font and ease the task of reading in lower case. The angle of attack of the round letters is an echo of the 15 Century typographic heritage. It was important for us to create an expressive and humanized font, which could also be used for edition. The purpose was to confront the Ancient typographic canon of beauty with some funny and fancyful elements.

SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB is a typeface inspired by the capital letters on the bass drum in the Beatles' Sgt Pepper album cover. The original lettering was hand painted by fairground artist Joe Ephgrave during March 1967 in an art deco style he called 'futuristic'. The font completes the uppercase, adds a lowercase, and includes a full complement of over 400 characters. SGT PEPPERS OUTLINE and SGT PEPPERS OUTLINE FILL are two fonts with matching spacing and kerning that can be overlapped for creating bicolor/multicolor effects and faux drums. The Outline and Outline Fill fonts do not contain lowercase characters, instead they comprise two weights of outline capitals as painted on the Sgt Pepper drum. The uppercase letters are in the wider style from around the outer edge of the drum, and the lowercase keys deliver the more condensed 'Lonely Hearts' inline style from the middle of the drum. The uppercase Y has been flipped to produce a more conventionally acceptable character with the thicker diagonal arm on the left. However, Joe Ephgrave's reverse Y (with inline) is included in the Outline fonts at the Section keystroke § (Alt-0167 on Windows). A simplified vector image (mono) of the bass drum without lettering is also included within the Outline fonts at the PlusMinus keystroke ± (Alt-0177 on Windows).

This new Recoleta is made up of 24 styles in total. We have added to its classical width two new variants with two different degrees of condensation: one very condensed and svelte, and the other at the midpoint between the standard width and the condensed. Each of the 3 widths has 8 weights, from thin to black. It also has numerous stylistic alternatives in both uppercase and lowercase. On the other hand, Recoleta also supports the Cyrillic alphabet.

LFT Arnoldo began as an all-caps book cover typeface created during the rebranding of Oscar Mondadori, the most important Italian publisher, with over 4,500 titles from ancient classics to contemporary works, and spanning academic essays to children’s and self-help books. For such a diverse catalogue, it was necessary to find a coherent and flexible paradigm which took into account genre and readership differences and ensured harmony among its works. The main idea was to create a typeface suitable for the branding element and which could be used for each title of the immense catalogue. So what makes LFT Arnoldo a companion to the centuries? Starting with the design of the capital letters, it is first a rational typeface with contemporary proportions. But rationality without style wasn’t enough, so its glyphic nature carries an engraved feeling to resemble letters when chisel is put to stone. Once these two traits were settled, the entire character set was developed as a flared humanist sans in order to complete the family and extend its usage, from titles and display settings to texts. LFT Arnoldo sets titles with dignified authority to appear digitally carved and more arresting than the usual sans or flared sans designs of the past. LFT Etica, the-moralist-typefamily-project, was born at the end of 2000, but its development is ongoing, overcoming many hurdles and diversions. The starting point for the designers at Leftloft were the common "cold" grotesk sans serifs, ubiquitous and often badly applied in their everyday visual environment. The challenge was to obtain the same force, versatility and color, but with a much warmer feel. The resulting design has soft strokes, open counters and terminals; aesthetically resting somewhere between a grotesque and humanist sans serif.
