Letterpress Helpers JNL continues a series of vintage cartoons, border and corner elements, stock designs, sales helpers and other embellishments re-drawn from vintage source material.

A set of over 50 ornaments, connecting borders, flourishes and decorative motifs originally designed by Frederic Goudy throughout his career. Many of these designs were used by Goudy at his Village Press and offered by his Village Foundry in the 1920s. The styles range from complex title page illustrations to simple linking borders, but all have the unique Goudy style. This set is completely different from the Goudy Ornaments found in the P22 Goudy Aries Set.

The Depot Trapharet 2D is based on lettering of Lviv tram stands describing the city tram routes. The font is characterized by brutal simplicity bordering with primitivity.

HWT Bernice is an ornament font system designed by Marian Bantjes. The basic shapes were designed by Bantjes for the Hamilton Wood Type Museum's border stamping machine as a contemporary application for this 150 year old machine, which punches shapes into end grain wood to form continuous border patterns. XRoomingHouse is a typeface of pictures that I did many years ago. Most of the pictures are border elements, and within a set they can be combined to make borders or frames. There is no real style consistency in the font—it is an eclectic collection of elements. (Minor corrections and additions were made in 2018 to improve sets that can form frames. While designing Trajan, Carol Twombly was influenced by the style of carved letters produced by the Romans during the first century AD.
