3 matches view forum post #14377 Don't know if you guys are aware of this, but we now officially have over 11 000 fonts - much, much more than any other similar resource out there !!!! I'm glad to be a part of this - really. Thank you all.
3 matches view forum post #24192 I have about 2,000 fonts and I really like this one that I saw online, but I can't find it in my collection and I don't know the name of it. It looks like about 15 fonts that I have, but the K's foot is somewhat distinctive, the E's points have a crisp slant to them as well as its center bar, while the T's points are almost windblown and the "S" has almost a fish hook point on the bottom and a narrower top. Anybody recognize it? Thanks, jman995x
3 matches view forum post #5182 [quote:12a998dee3="alex"] well, it kinda grew already... i get 5000-6000 uniques/day.. so right now i am just looking for way to expand [/quote:12a998dee3] Oh I thought you said you had 1000+ visits a day. If you have 5,000 - 6,000 then it's a great idea to expand. Good Luck, Paul
2 matches view forum post #11354 uploaded image Yes, handy little tool. But only for Windfruit, not for apples, I'm afraid. There is an expensive apple thingie but that is very slow, matching some 8.000 fonts in, they claim, 10 minutes - so that can easily be 12 to 13 minutes. I can do 20.000 in 4+ but then I still need to compare visually. Accuracy is, like with WTF, not always very good. But, only for windfruit.

1 matches view forum post #24203 Hi seen it a 10.000 times... just can find it anymore :)
1 matches view forum post #6930 Right, since you want so many fonts why not get the whole bunch at once. Spider funsite24 and fontuniverse and you have'm all. Plus 20.000 more.
1 matches view forum post #15722 You have no idea...I browsed over 33 000 fonts, many similar - nothing exact.
1 matches view forum post #11909 I think, Geoff, You are about 20,000 miles away from the sigar box.
1 matches view forum post #13465 I once read that, but can't remember where and when. It is in the USA not uncommon to rename a font even if you have a licence to resell. See Bitstream eo. Did Corel stop bundling fonts with Draw? I don't know. Maybe with version X3 but they were there with version 12. CorelDraw 12 Product Features: * Design suite for illustration, page-layout vector drawing, and more; includes CorelDraw Graphics 12, Corel Photo-Paint 12, and Corel R.A.V.E. 3 * Over 10,000 professional clipart images; 1,000 TrueType and Type 1 fonts; and 1,000 photos and objects are included etc About the US High Court ruling; the trouble is a bit in the difference in copyright interpretation in the USA and over here. Here a digital type is nothing else than a way to reproduce a type and the intellectual property lies with the actual designer or the legal entity that the copyright has been transferred to. The interpretation of a design is what it looks like. Not how it is constructed. With you a digital type design is considered as software (the code). Difference in rendering the glyphs is considered a different type (font) and the copyright is in the code and the name. A letter is a letter and you can not copyright the shape. I remember someone then making the remark that the judges could not see the difference between a Helvetica and a Times. Funny thing is, try to use/sell a digital version of a Disney figure. Prepare for a huge traffic jam of gray suits on your doorstep.
