2 matches view forum post #15309 I hav .fon format font which works fine with my application in XP but when its installed in Vista it is not working
1 matches view forum post #24530 uploaded image The reason why your Angela Bold won't open under XP / Vista is the missing info in the naming section. Unlike 98 and before XP/Vista require the unique font identifier. As you can see the Angela lacks this info. Apart from that it is a badly made clone, far too many points and, worse, many duplicate points. Hardly usable for print.
1 matches view forum post #15968 Stumbled across this, my apologies if a retread. Download the new Windows Vista fonts legally free. Download either the free Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 Viewer http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=048DC840-14E1-467D-8DCA-19D2A8FD7485&displaylang=en or the Microsoft Office Compatibility pack http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en - both the software include the new Windows Vista fonts. The fonts are Candara, Consolas, Calibri, Cambria, Constantia and Corbel. HT globalnerdy.com
1 matches view forum post #19466 During a typical installation, Windows 95, 98, XP and Vista install, amongst many others, the truetype (95, 98) or open type (XP, Vista) versions of Times New Roman (Times.ttf), Times New Roman Bold (Timesbd.ttf), Times New Roman Bold Italic (Timesbi.ttf) and Times New Roman Italic (Timesi.ttf). Find a machine with any version of Windows 95 and up (should not be impossible) and Bob's your uncle ...

2 matches view forum post #22129 How can i download fonts onto open office? Yes, the program sucks but it would suck less if i had really cool fonts! :) P.s. i have the stupid windows vista version
2 matches view forum post #18036 I've tried the small caps but it isnt the same I think its because msword uses fake small caps so the weight is all off. Does the opentype Times New Roman in the fonts folder in vista include the small caps? Or do I need to get it separately? Where can I find the opentype small caps for TNR? Thanks for your help sergio.
1 matches view forum post #14624 Wow, you people are good. I was hoping this would be a free font..........but, where do you recommend purchasing this. I don't want the entire family and I will need a True Type. I think that will work on my Vista (arg) system Thanks for all your help!
1 matches view forum post #20700 Lauren, since you mentioned Vegas, would that be Mountain Vista, Las Vegas, NV 89121, US ? Edit kk: Lauren - rightfully - complained about the details in this post so I took some out.
1 matches view forum post #17521 view details for free font #12821 Like most of my fonts, CatBats opens very slowly in preview, but works fine if installed, unless you are using Windows Vista. It's probably better to use the character guide for preview before deciding if you want to install it. ~bito
