Hi. I am looking for the font that is used on a lot of tattoos on people from mexico, and southern America. I have seen it on a lot og movies, All the cool latinos have written something on there body with this "font". Hope you understand me, my english ain't that good. Sorry.

The perfect font for this is 101! Hands Across America.
Its pictures of children with their hands joined, and the letters are on their shirts.
It's freeware, but you'll have to look for it yourself. If you leave an e-mail address in this thread, I'll send it to you.

sorry for being intrusive, but i want to see who gets into making fonts... ;) Maybe this will grow to be an interview :D
I've attemted it myself few years back but i didnt really understand the curves and all the other good stuff that you should know to use Fontographer so the results were not nearly as good as i wished.
- What is your main occupation? Studying? Working?
- Planning on making commercial fonts?
- What do you think of the copyright laws concerning fonts ( in North America and/or in Australia )

The name of ‘aguije Caiman’ originates in the “spectacled caiman”. They are one of small kinds of crocodilian that live widely from the northern part of the South America continent to central part. When we saw their peculiar shapes of this font, we obtained the impression like reptiles – specially crocodilian.
Then we call our font project ‘WANI‘. And we plan to give names connected to crocodilian to our fonts. Maybe “aguije Crocodile” will be born soon...?

Ahhh, That's right. I suppose in America, the fraktur style is not as culturally tainted with the trappings of fascism. The use by Radiohead of the overly ornate capitals in their iconography is meant, I suspect, to reflect that but they ARE European.
I guess I'm interested in the more contemporary version of the style, where ornate, chaotic line is melded with a more twentieth century typeface like Times Roman or Garamond (a good example is the Broken Ghost font). It's fascinating that to you it looks aggressive, while to me it looks hopelessly romantic.
I'm enjoying the discussion in this thread. It's a lot more intriguing than: What font is this?

This is your forum, this is your show. There is no point arguing if a moderator action is right or wrong. You call the shots as far as what's going on here.
However, the thread might be outdated but the topic is not. I occassionally get private messages from here looking for this font so I decided to do this to get myself out of this mess. I was hoping that indirectly linking to a site through a lesser known search engine might do the trick. This is what I got for bragging. :(
If I only know how to create fonts, I will make my own fonts of all football jersey fonts. I love them and I am not engaged in any business directly or indirectly related to football. I also do not use these fonts for anything commercial, purely personal.
I am no longer replying to private or public messages regarding the MLS font. Considering that directly or indirectly linking to a site where i know the font is found is not acceptable here, I suggest that anyone looking for this font should go to your favorite search engine and look for the "MLS uniform font". I also suggest that you use a meta search engine to rid yourself of unrelated search results (spam?) that abound in the results major search engines show you. Go to a meta search engine like www.search.com, www.metacrawler.com, www.webcrawler.com, www.ixquick.com, www.dogpile.com and hundreds of other meta search out there but it is the top (unpaid) result at search.com :)
BTW football jersey counterfeiters exist in South America, Europe and in every territory where the game is popular. China and South East Asia do not have a monopoly. Would you believe that football jersey counterfeiters exist even in Spain?
