I'm Making A logo For a band Called "DDS" (A Drug Dubbed Sin) But I can't find a Font that's "kickass" enough If people could submit links to the fonts they would like to see a band use. I didn't read the forum rules so if this is not allowed just trash it and my apologies to the admin.

@ Cher, this is useless. Lauren simply could not understand that she was not accused of anything. Just couldn't cope with the situation that the thingie she had so proudly made already existed. Never thought of the possibility that an existing type had been used for that book's title. Thus went bananas. Utterly bananas, true. Lauren has tried to solve this. Has removed most of the sin-city dialect, so it's OK.

Well, if you ask me this way, I feel more comfortable with the dafont-Php-thingy. Where you first can customize the typeface-letters and then go for a stroll. That means: First I typi in "test" for example, then all the font sin the category change themselves to "test", then I browse through.
here at AF I only can browse the fonts with their default names and after I chose one I can customize.
But your question was Javascript vs Safari. I think this always was one of the things apple hasn't under control. in no version I worked on. But it works here pretty well, I think.

Well I posted on the forum asking if anyone knew what the name of the font used on The Smashing Pumpkins Adore Album was...
In reply I received a copy of Novella in my mailbox, which (AT THE TIME!) I was more than happy to accept and keep on the down-low so to speak.
At that time I made websites and graphics, but didn't think about creating fonts myself, and I guess I assumed that fonts were generated, or that type designers made bucoo bucks so what would it matter if one little sale to little old me slipped by.
