true, i have written the code to extract ascii characters out of the fonts a very long time ago.
this is something that needs to be looked at... if only i could write this down somewhere so i dont forget... If you don't see it done within a month, could you please be so kind and remind me?
thanks Ivan, i always want to hear how to improve the site

Some letterforms remind me of Kuenstler Script especially the l/c r, but frankly I think this is handcrafted.

I saw you posted this on Typophile too. I can tell you I have tried - but came up empty handed. I love that lower case "E" and it does remind me of an Emigre font... The initial Caps are not like any connected script/italic I know...
And because of the weird weights in the letter M - I'd say someone painted this sample.
Sorry...

Oh, good catch on the S's... although the second one looks like it could be the same as the first with a heavier stroke.
The A, T, and S remind me vividly of a Christmas font, but the name escapes me. The M and N are definitely from the same family, and it looks like the A probably is too, with the way the broad stroke extends past the lighter one. I'm hoping the Christmas angle might help with discovery. Thanks!

Gill Sans and Optima remind me of this, but the g's are not the same. Does anyone recognize this font with those g's?
Thanks!
