Hi,
DejaVu? This Typeface contains Sans, Serif and
Monospaced (incl condensed and oblique):

DejaVu is based on Bitsreams Vera:
http://www.gnome.org/fonts/
You can find another Version of Vera Sans with
extended character set with the name ,,arev'' in
any CTAN (Comprehensive TeX Archive Network) site.
You might also take a look at URWPP Base 35 fonts
for GhostScript. This includes a free Helevetica
(Nimbus SansL) and Times (Nimbus Roman No9). This
is a common combination for english writing (but
not suitable for the german language).
bye bye

Hi,
Helvetica Neue is a commercial typeface. You should pay for it or use a good clone. One well done clone is URWPPs Nimbus SansL. It`s part of the Base35 postscript fonts and shipped out with every Ghostscript. The PSType1 Version can be found on any ctan-mirror:
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/urw/base35/
It's GPLed freeware, see file COPYING.

Hi,
First guess: The E is a C plus a minus-sign. Take something like a Helvetica Thin Wide? and you should get the ESSE, but the N? Mayby someone played with House Industries Chalet?
http://www.houseind.com/fonts/chalet/viewfonts
Or just rotated a Helvetica U at 180°? The example is a Nimbus Sans Normal, try a Helvetica Neue Extended Ultra Light or Thin insted.
Bye bye
