 What font is the "TV" part of the MTV logo? Or is there something similar?

I have been searching the Internet for the font that MTV use for subtitling in their programs, but without any luck.
Do any of you guys know what it's called?

This one is an old US MTV-style banner.

Anyone know what font this is? Not the MTV logo, but the "YO!" and "RAPS" part of the art. I've been looking and can't find anything on it. Not even similar fonts where I could add on the "brush look" at the ends of the letters.

The first saying: SUGARCUBES
And the bottom one: REGINA
This is the old mTV banner.

how you all doing, i'm doing a gp for a tv station in my country (Dominican Republic,caribean island) Which is presenting the mtv.la awards and i need the name of this font to buy it, any help would be appreciated. Thanxz
