Hi I am trying to find a font that matches the typewriter style font used in the opening credits of the original Mission Impossible TV series... Any ideas please? - Mission Impossible???

Hello.
Firstly i know there is already a Mission Impossible thread and although it's about the same theme, i didn't want my question to be thought of as answered. Apologies if it causes any trouble.
Ok, so all i need help with is identifying the two fonts used in the 'Mission Impossible' title or any fonts that are similar in style. Naturally the fuse part on the 'Mission' font is something i can add in myself.
Thanks for your time. - Can anyone help identify these fonts?

I'm thinking that there's a very good chance that you're tired of hearing from me with my little projects. Each of these projects, though, means a great deal to me, and I thank you for all of the help you have given me thus far.
I don't blame you for not replying to my last post, it wasn't really worth replying to anyway. But I really need your help here. I'm going to be making what might be my last 'film' which will be based on the classic film, "The Godfather." You may or may not be familar with it, because I have no idea what films are released in Germany and what films you like to watch. It's really none of my business anyway. Back to business, though, I made a little picture that shows two examples of the font. I remember seeing the font before, but I have no idea where to find it now.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find this font and safely give me a link to it (a little Mission: Impossible humor). If you can find one with the hand holding the puppet as a letter or number or something like that, that'd be great, but my main concern is the actual text used for the words, "The Godfather." Thanks in advance for any help you can give me and thanks for all of the help you already have given me! - Ute,

Heheheh thanks :) Helps a tad... that's the only font I *knew* I had in my fonts but I didn't feel like sifting through 1200 fonts to find it. Now I know what it is :)
I have been trying to find the names of the others for EVER, and now it's become a mission dammit!
Thanks :)

Pffffffffffffftt! Another mission impossible done. All three on the web. Though be it well hidden. If ECF is dead indeed at least sideshow is not too difficult to complete and bring to usable quality. The thing is based on the Lynchburg with a lot of details left out. As for King's Cort the same is probably true. Just find a fraktur that fits and add the missing glyphs. - re: looking for 2 older fonts
