2 matches comment OKay I emailed the company who owns the websiteEmily The Strange and they said that a designer made the letters into images and they put all the letters together... However, I would go with Fontdiner Loungy because that is *extremely* close...personally, I don't belive the person who told me they were images, but whatever...lol

1 matches comment view details for free font #14096 Mmmmm yeah maybe. People seem to like it though so who knows... I have ideas on how to improve it further. such as minimizing the extremity of the round overshoots on lowercase letters, as Ivan rightly observed cause an unevenness to the fonts overall appearance... and i'd like to replace te capital M & N with that of "Caviar Dreams" (the corners on them are "flat' as champagne's meet at a point and another tendency of mine is to have such points also meet at an exaggerated overshoot of baselines or cap-hieghts.... see 'N' of lt oksana!) and touch up kerning of course... and extend left and right { and [ symbols to the depth of lowercase descenders.... you know just to name a few. I guess if I do all those things i might as well just consider it a new font w/a new name. he he. and as usual I wrote a novel here, because I am a geek :)

2 matches comment Also, you can use Bangle or Pegasus -Emily I'd like to re-create this logo, because it looks so rough, but I don't know what font the lettering is in. [img:a08bbd16d8]http://members.cox.net/drenched/ARTb/ARTb.jpg[/img:a08bbd16d8] I've been manually comparing the letters to fonts I've found on the net for hours, when finally I realized that I should just ask. Thanks for helping me identify it! Drenche

1 matches comment Optimus Princeps and Trajan Pro are the only ones I have that meet all the serif requirements. Now whether either comes in condensed I don't have time to look (lunch is over lol)
2 matches comment Hi, you've got a great site here... :D I saw this site when I was searching for a font called Skia, which I saw in a book I read and loved it (the font). Needless to say, I found it. Now I want to find another font--it's very similar to Symphony--as far as I can tell, all the capital letters are the same except J, and all the lowercase letters are about the same except g and the italic/bold y. I would give you a sample, but I can't find one right now. I'll let you know if I can. No time now...By the way, I also saw this font in a book, called P.S. Longer Letter Later, by Paula Danziger and Ann M. Martin. It's the font Tara*Starr uses to write her letters--unfortunately, on the copyright page, there was no thing that says "The text was set in _______" like the other one did...It's also used in Wal-Mart for the signs, such as in Clothing, that say "Dresses", or "Pants" or "10-12", etc. Anyone let me know if you find it!!!!!!!!! Thx. -Emily p.s. by the way, what's the font used in the messages in the help forum? just curious. (I like it!)
