1 posts view forum post #6645 That's the famous GillSans. Commercial. But widely available on the web. Mea culpa! That was a bit too quick. Sorry. This is not the Gill. On first sight it looks a lot like it but in reality it is very different, 'e' and 'b'. I'll keep looking.
1 posts view forum post #10735 BrockScript, Fait par un inconnu - date stamp August 1996, has l lot in common with script fonts like Mea Culpa and Jacky O. But I have not seen a commercial version so I think it is OK to use it.
1 posts view forum post #26073 uploaded image Thank you. I had a look at FontShop and it is very close but not an exact match. I do not blame you as I only showed two letters (not counting the accented A) to work on. Mea culpa. Just the same, many thanks. Found other images of jerseys. Would you have another go at this image?
1 posts view forum post #13402 I'm sorry I was a bit too quick here. No, not a Courier. I mean the Typewriter (the Monotype version to be exact). Mea culpa. But Mission accomplished ...
1 posts view forum post #25259 Mea Culpa, in fact i was browsing dafont on that moment for another answer on another topic and spoted the Inkburrow passing by! You know that feeling! Darn, here it is, this is the one! i know the font for the answer on MosaiR topic on abstract, copied the dafont link and here it is! :)) I'll try better next time! But it can't be THAT wrong for both websites, it's all peacefully related, there's not THAT much of a cutthroat monopolistic competition between them 2! :) I'm nice to cats! will you be nice to my family hamster? :)))
1 posts view forum post #8789  Mea Culpa and shame on me! I presumed that Parsons Italic Light and Parsons Italic was the same type. Oops! But then, they should have named it oblique. Anyway, Igot some of the Parsons Itacil around and are these sick! No space before a return? Half the character blanked out. Have Typograf look at the charactermap: instant coma. Now, as the Parsons Italic is a swashy version of the Parsons Italic Light and the lowercase of the 'Light' matches the Shelly Andante perfectly the solution should be - and indeed is - simple: we need the swashy versions of the Shelly Andante, Sheer Beauty. Shelly Volante and Sheer Grace are the answer. All said about the differences towards the Parsons Italic Light is also valid here. Hope this makes you happy.
