1 matchesHi,
similar to Stymie:

Just have a look at similar fonts or use Rockwell, shipped with M$ Operating Systems and Corel Draw (Geometric Slab Serif 712) or Memphis (Corel Draw: Geometric Slab Serif 703):

*EDIT* Sorry, I posted the wrong Charactermap. Its from Linotype Stymie and the capital letter R is wrong. See for the other versions of Stymie (the link points to the right versions) and their proper R.
Bye bye

1 matchesHi,
@LAvish:Actually I don't think its Egyptian Bold Extended because the middle part of the E is different. Could it be a different version of Egyptian?
Egyptian is the old term for «Slab Serif». See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slab_serif
Your example is a Slab Serif according the Clarendon model and it`s no Clarendon.
The typeface Cairo is a typical example but it`s condensed:

The «Fette Egyptienne» from Dieter Steffmann is another good example:

Note: Both typefaces are tagged «serif» and not «slab serif». Searching for the tag «slab serif» will not work properly for Clarendon Model typefaces. :-(
Bye Bye
3 matchesI have tried Identifont and What the Font with out any luck. Anybody here know this face?
1 matchesparece ser geometric 231 en bold o heavy
is geometric 231 heavy
3 matchesThe least I can suggest:
1. Retro
2. Display / Headline (although this could be rather unclear to most non-typo addicts)
3. Condensed (I know, most fonts that are Condensed have it written in their filename, but anyway)
4. "Normal" is okay, although it should be "Text"
5. DaFont has Cartoon AND Comic, which are quite good descriptions. We have Cartoon, but we don't have Comic
Any other suggestions are welcome. Alex?
PS. Also would like to see "Slab Serif" category, just in case :)
1 matchesWe definitely need more categories for fonts...most of all "Slab"
1 matchesNothing too jazzy.. just playing around with my favorite geometric sans serif.
