Fine Gothic was developed over several years, and was partly inspired by the blackletter fonts of the great 20th century calligrapher and lettering designer, Rudolf Koch. Although blackletter has many historical and cultural associations with Germany, and has been used in the English-speaking world excessively on the mastheads of newspapers or the facades of antique shops, contemporary designers should not be deterred from adding these vigorous letterforms to their repertoire. Conventional blackletter tends towards the heavier weights, which makes the Light weight of Fine Gothic something of a delight and a rarity.

Ink Gothic is a contemporary slab serif with a split personality - a mix of heavy industrial with light typographic twists. Unique letterforms evolve the typeface into a class all its own. The Ink Gothic Alt styles add italic letter-styling and cursive loop appeal to the lowercase characters, taking the more refined stylings and giving them an elegant twist adding versatility and beauty. Stylistic Alternates are available for the b & k characters. Gothic Gothic has been honored with an award of Excellence in Type Design from Association Typographique International (ATypI) in 2001. I was playing around with computer style forms, and suddenly noticed an optical effect in this style. There you go!

Tall, stately, and refined, with a showy contrast between thick and thin, a certain kind of titling Didone has become synonymous with fashion. Ermin Međedović’s latest type system amplifies the most theatrical aspects of this genre while bringing an uncommon flexibility of style and variation to any type palette — particularly those required for editorial design. Fino is a Rational (or Modern) display serif with sharp details. Its fairly Title proportions produce a regular beat of bold stems at frequent intervals. One can add an unexpected twist to this plot line by introducing the alternate ‘C, D, G, O, and Q’ (found in the uppercase); these replace the standard, Title oval shapes with big, full, show-stopping round ones. Other alternate forms, along with a grand ensemble cast of ligatures, lets the director continually flip the script. This stage is set in three acts: Fino, Fino, and Fino Stencil. Each of these offer six weights and italics, and each actor is comfortable speaking any Latin-based language, from standard Hollywood English to the many accents of Eastern Europe. Finally, every style comes in two optical sizes, with Title having the finest hairlines for the biggest parts. This lets you put Fino to work in a variety of productions, from short texts (24pt–48pt settings) to epic titles. The complete Fino family, along with our entire catalogue, has been optimised for today’s varied screen uses. All these talents let Fino perform a range of roles far broader than your typical Bodoni or Didot.

Filk is a super bold, all-lowercase script font with gorgeous curves and thick downstrokes. Filk is perfect for branding and editorial projects and dreams of being used on billboards, in magazines, and in movie titles. Filk includes approximately 540 glyphs, including 39 standard and discretionary ligatures. OpenType features include a a stylistic set, a bunch of character variants, initial and final forms for letters that need them, and multilingual support (including multiple currency symbols). The OpenType features can be very easily accessed by using OpenType-savvy programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

Pink is the work of British designer Timothy Donaldson, a sans serif in a style typical of the 1990s. Capitals are slightly condensed and feature unusual variations in stroke widths and the lowercase has an even more irregular stroke pattern, yet an even texture is produced when used in word settings.

Yink takes big, bulbous, ball terminals up a notch, by repeating the shapes not only in the black but in the white space too. This interplay between black and white shapes is reminiscent of the yinyang symbol in places, which is where the name Yink originates. It's a shamelessly over-the-top font, and should be set large. There's a handful of OpenType features, including ligatures and alternates: Ligatures for ff, fft, ft, tt, gj Alternates are grouped into stylistic sets: 1. An alternate u, possibly more legible, but definitely not as much fun! 2. Again, a more boring version of m, just in case the default is ambiguous. 3. A more exuberant L 4. A blackletter informed T 5. Alternate P and R 6. An alternate 1 (one)

Wink has been created as the result of exhaustive research, trial and development. It is an OpenType set of fonts which appears in a friendly and fun way, with a new twist on what Joluvian has previously created. Full of personality, with a brave and strong creative line, it is intended to reflect authenticity when being used in all types of media and styles. The ornaments offered in this font work as a graphic resource that expand all the possibilities for Wink users.
 
Although Wink is inspired by traditional calligraphic flourishes, its modern twist makes it elegant and simple at the same time. It’s not  completely a brush type but it has been created with the same calligraphy base Joluvian usually works with. Wink also has a caps version with the same style of the script. Both versions could work perfectly, individually or together. As usual, the type has been developed with Ale Paul for Sudtipos, and the collaboration of Macus Romero has been essential to illustrate the style that Wink represents.

Fini. Done. You've just discovered an infinitely useful font that polishes things with youthful and stylish vigor. Fini provides playfulness with double letter ligatures with a twist of friendly sophistication. Fini Things, also designed by illustrator and font designer, Amy Dietrich, is a decorative collection of 26 loopy, spotty repeating border designs and kid oriented icons (like a pea coat, owl hat, hoodie, rubber duckie etc, plus a coffee cup - for mom and dad). The joy of pure geometry, revisited. Geometric typefaces are a staple in every typographer’s toolbox since the 1920s. It was a time when iconic faces such as Futura, Erbar, and Kabel appeared on the scene and turned the world of type upside-down. Inspired by those early giants as well as later epigones with a legacy of their own (such as 1970’s Avant Garde Gothic), Flink is the Identity Letters take on this genre, characterized by a clean and focused appearance. With neat shapes and the look of pure geometry, Flink adapts to a vast range of applications and topics, from the fine print in contract to website body copy to logo design to billboard-size slogans. Its x-height is considerably larger than in classic geometric sans-serif fonts; its proportions are harmonized as opposed to strictly constructed. This makes for a more contemporary look, setting it apart from the classics. Links was built adhering to a strict grid of 'linked' squares; and comes with special "Grid Glyphs" that line up perfectly with all characters. These Grid Glyphs can be used to create an invisible grid for your layout or as a background to enhance your design. Perfect for posters, logos and headlines, this font is available in four styles; Round and Square with accompanying obliques. This font was inspired by much of the lettering from the Dutch movement, or Functionalism which in turn was a descendant of the International Style pioneered by the Swiss. In keeping with these traditions, Links was build adhering to a strict grid of linked squares, taking a clear scientific approach to construct each character. One of the main features of International Style is the implementation of a Grid. This font has built in special characters that I call 'Grid Glyphs'; these Grid Glyphs line up perfectly with every character, enabling you to construct your own grid that echoes the form of the characters. The concept was to take the classic German style lettering and create a contemporary extended block letter typeface. The result is a fusion of old and new.

Say hello to Gothica. It’s a display geometric sans designed with Stencil-like elements and letter cutouts specifically created for visual impact—ideal for logo, branding and advertising purposes. The font includes capitals and capital alternatives in the lower case keystroke positions—it’s like having 2 display fonts in one. Gothiks is a powerfull 6-weight display sanserif influenced by Texturas. The rithm and verticality of Texturas can be easily identified on the letters with diagonal strokes like A N M K k V v W w X x Y y Z z: here they are all vertical. This kind of morphology was chosen because it accepts condensation in a very natural way, giving to this compact sanserif a very unique personality. The intermediate weights can be used for short texts while extreme weights are excellent for big sizes. It has an extensive character set — with extensive language support — and many OpenType features like fractions, small capitals and different figure sets. Default figures align with lowercase.

From original samples of Rudolf Koch's Maximilian, Gothicus and Gothicus Alternate have Fraktur style captials, Gothicus Roman has Roman capitals. All three have the same lower case which includes three swash characters for g, s and t, available as discretionary ligatures in OpenType versions, and manually otherwise. All include two authentic ornaments, also penned by Koch. Gothicus Roman has three additional floret ornaments.
