That is a neat font and close but unfortunately it won't work with the symbol because of the sharp edges as well as that texture....

Smart choice. The Parachute guys are selling this gorgeous typeface for mere 79 EUR. Includes Latin, Greek even Cyrillic, as well as gazilion symbols...neat :)

It has to do with marketing, I guess.
A centered and perfect R logo would probably look too neat and proper and be overlooked.
An off-center R stands out like a sore thumb and may catch your eye. It does not look bad either.

 iv been going thru the font database here .. and im wowed!! some really neat fonts around...
anyways... pleasantries aside.. iv been hounding for this font like crazy for a good part of 5-6 days.... havent managed to locate it...
