Just a minor note from those who don’t use technical instruments. Please don’t hesitate to show so many letters as are clearly visible. And tell something about where you find the sample. Because there is sometimes hidden the clue to the ID.

I know that, but note that after getting the buffer size, i have a malloc function, and then again, I'm calling Get... to get the bitmap, after allocating memory. So in that call, bufsize won't be zero, and buffer won' be null.
