1 posts view forum post #27396 ? I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS!!!! Sorry for shouting, but I'm SO EXCITED!! It is BEAUTIFUL, if I do say so myself. ;D ;D We all kept saying "wow" the whole time I had it on. Go figure it was also the most expensive one (by far) I put on all day, but man it's so worth it. In my Mom's words: "That dress is kickass" (so not a comment my mom usually makes, either). Not only did I get the dress of my DREAMS, but I also got a veil, shoes, and picked out bridesmaids dresses- all in about 4 hours! Edited to add the link:http://www.RomanceAround.com. The pictures don't even do it justice. The bottom and back of the dress are just incredible. Like us on Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/RomanceAround/101834463237414. Thanks very much! Wont let you down!

1 posts view forum post #19872 No, I got it from The Atlantic website. My own copy comes airmail, and it is just like yours, with the white band that I suyppose is for the address tag for the US Mail. You're right, though. The PNG and GIF formats are way better when there are no photographs involved, ie for text only images. And the weigh less too. The redesign is truly beautiful. I took the night to go back and forth the pages. Clean and powerful. The force of the sans serif is balanced in the cover page by the old masthead, in the interior pages by the elegant H+F Mercury. Adore. I love the magazine and with this new dress, I guess I'll renew from now my subscription. For those who are not The Atlantic readers, you can read Bierut's analysis – a bit of a case history, for those in the industry – even on Pentagram's website. 1 posts view forum post #17757 Oh God, sure! Great display of humour, Kat :D The orange gif was totally an act of a genius! I'm not a football fan, anyway, I'm much more into rugby – if I have to pick one sport as favourite. When I was a kid, my father used to take me to the stadium and see AC Milan. He was a huge fan. Well, he used to take my brother too, but he was already an AS Roma fan. It was the Eighties. AC Milan was the strongest team in Europe – thanks also to those wonderful three Dutch players: Gullit, Rijkaard (spelling?) and Van Basten, the Utrecht's swan. Well, I really don't follow football. I barely from time to time check the results of AS Bari, the team from my hometown. I don't know how things go in Europe. In Italy, football players are the most sought-after gurus. They are the contemporary trendsetters. It means that this country – for which I agree completely with Metternich: Italy is just a geographical expression – is going down the drain, culturally speaking. Following its socioeconomical decadence even in the way people dress, speak, tattoo themselves. Yes, I'm saying that I spend the Monday morning hating the vast majority of football players. Surely those from big clubs. Good Lord, they're always on tv and they can't even speak properly in their supposed national language. I truly miss the pre-1789 days. People were just people, keeping their mouths shut. I know I sound weird but I just can't help myself: they offend my ears. Anyway, these are political and historical thoughts that might not interest you, Kat, and anybody else. I haven't seen the match. I couldn't care less for those morons, even – or maybe because of – if they wear a Royal blue shirt. Again: you made me laugh. Thank you very much. Your humour was totally perfect and elegant. Sorry for my long post, the memories and all that.
