downloaded (10) - Abstract Fonts

Hi..This is a stupid question, i know, but i downloaded a font to my font folder and it let me use it but then i downloaded a different one and it wouldnt let me use it. What do i do? Oh, and can downloaded fonts be used on paint? Please help im so confused. - New and Confused

How do i add the downloaded fonts to photoshop??? do i put the whole zip somewhere, or the contents... and what folder? - Where do i put the downloaded fonts.

What are talking about? I downloaded itr right now, everything is OK ... the ttf is your fontfile (=Truetype). If you downloaded the ZIP you'll have to extract it. But you know that, right? - re: arri�re garde, regular

Hi, I downloaded a font called Barnacle yesterday,and tried to install it,but an error came up that said "The requested file (BARNACLE.ttf) is not a valid font file". This has happened to me before with a few other fonts I downloaded that didn't work with Windows XP computers (what I have).But I found these fonts on another font site "regenerated",and made to work with XP. I have another computer which I successfully installed the Barnacle font into,but it is a Windows ME,so I know that the BarnacIe font file I downloaded from Abstract Fonts does work,just not with my XP. I have looked EVERYWHERE,on every font site I came across,and downloaded the Barnacle font ZIPs and TTFs from every one,but come installation time they all say the same thing (The requested file (BARNACLE.ttf) is not a valid font file). I REALLY want this font,so I'm asking if anyone knows how to get a Barnacle font (the same font shown on this page,Abstract Fonts) that installs and works with a Windows XP system!Please,if anyone reading this knows how,let me know!Thanks so much! ~Candace~ - BARNACLE FONT WON'T INSTALL!

hello, its very simple to install the .ttf files. but the thing is that I wanted to install the Chinese Font. I downloaded a Chinese Font(Big5, I wonder whats that?), n followed the same procedure as u discussed. But when I opened the Wordpad and select it and type "askjabfaskjfbaf" the outcome is english language but not chinese??? How to install a multi-language in our system. Please let me know ar earliest as possible. Regards, Anil - what abt chinese fonts?

I have just downloaded the font LainieDaySH, and it is saved, but I can't use it. Any idea what I have done wrong? TIA - Font downloads but doesn't work?

Hey, I downloaded the font Crusades a year or so ago. I've been using it for some publications, but windows stopped recognizing it for some reason. I thought maybe it was a registration thing. So I downloaded and tried to install it again. But it says the font is damaged. I tried to contact the original vendor, but wasn't sucessful. Can anyone help me?
