It looks like a dingbat or printer's ornament, perhaps a Victorian dingbat or fleuron.

Does anyone know if there is a road dingbat font out there somewhere? something like LEGO roads if you know what I mean, like pieces of a road (straight ones, bent ones, crossings...) that you can put together to form a road. I have never seen any, but it would be great if there is one.
Thank you!

The two dingbat fonts aren't freeware.
There is a free zip-file, it contains "trials" of many dingbat fonts, but there are only the first 6 or 7 "letters" available. A trial of P'tit Dej and Paradise Fruits is included. For the full version you have to pay - see for yourself here:

Cuba GREAT!
Let me elaborate on the subject. Poor, full of hypocrisy ( comunist country, where people is not allowed to travel, especially to the states, with american dollar as preferred currency, for one ) but cheerful and sunny with lots of free time.
