Here's a run through everything in more detail; Checkmark • A smooth-edged signature style font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals, and a large range of punctuation. Checkmark Alt • This is a second version of Checkmark, with a completely new set of both upper and lowercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option. Checkmark Swash • A third font containing 26 hand drawn swashes. Simply type any a-z or A-Z character in this font to generate a swash. Checkout is a fat, slightly cursive, poster font. It was modeled after 'clearance sale' signs and a 1950 Mexican movie poster for Los Olvidados (directed by Luis Buñuel). Checkout can be used for headlines, posters and, of course, for your clearance sale! Comes with a hard-to-beat amount of diacritics.

To design Mr Black, we used old ('70-'80) dry transfer lettering sheets that were used by my grandfather who was a military cartographer. We had only two almost used-up sheets. The letters didn't transfer so well but we liked the way they were damaged. All of the characters have a very high resolution so they can be used in a large scale. Mr Black doesn't have lowercases but has up to three alternate uppercase for each letter. Checkout Mr Tiger if your looking for lowercase letters with the same distortion effect.
