Hi Font gurus,
I am looking for the font in the image attached or the one on this picture:
http://www.traveladventures.org/continents/europe/images/paris2.jpg
Anything that would look somewhat the same would help. For example for the second one, I don't need the horizontal stencil lines, I can make it myself.
The first one looks a lot like many simple stencil fonts so it's not really my priority. I am more interested in the second one.
Thanks for your help!!

Hi,
First guess: The E is a C plus a minus-sign. Take something like a Helvetica Thin Wide? and you should get the ESSE, but the N? Mayby someone played with House Industries Chalet?

Or just rotated a Helvetica U at 180°? The example is a Nimbus Sans Normal, try a Helvetica Neue Extended Ultra Light or Thin insted.
Bye bye

Hi,
Air Berlin use a typeface that looks
similar. I just noticed it today and
found a posting in a german fontblog:
http://www.fontblog.de/neues-corporate-design-bei-air-berlin
Have a look at the diverent typefaces of
the chalet family from house industries:
http://www.houseind.com/fonts/chalet
look at the 1970s, notice the wrong s and
look at the 1960s for the right s. It might
be a starting point.
Btw: Someone else noticed the similarity
to Helvetica too. The 1960s style tend a
little bit to Helvetica.
Bye Bye

Looks like some of Chalet styles.

Wouw Angela, you would help us a lot if you could specify your requests. We all were looking at the wrong logo. The last one I don't know, but it looks like a mix of ITC Ronda and Chalet. (And it does look familiar, but can't place it)
