German-born, veteran graphic designer and calligrapher Mandred Kloppert, has designed everything from book covers and packaging to logos and fonts. In fact, in 1977, one of his poster designs was voted best poster of the year. Challenger, his first digital typeface draws on his more than 40 years of experience as a freelance graphic designer and calligrapher. Challenger is a versatile font and is particularly effective in contexts in which the purpose is to put across a message very directly and assertively, while retaining a dignified style - in advertisement texts, on packaging, invitations and greetings cards and the like. It is dynamic without being overbearing, individual without being quirky.

Chaweng is a coastal region on Ko Samui, an island in the Golf of Thailand, about 20 miles off the mainland. The design of Chaweng is based on some 'Latinese' characters Peter Rosenfeld detected while celebrating Chinese New Years Eve with people from Thailand and China on the beach of Chaweng. Ralph M. Unger took on the idea and developed a completely new typeface, very beautiful, very 'Latinese'. Chaweng obviously shows some of the typical characteristics of Chinese ideograms, still keeping a high level of legibility. To add something really special, Unger digitized the Chinese signs of the zodiac which change annually, on the occasion of the Chinese New Years Eve.Chaweng is perfect for signs and small texts, e.g. for any Asian restaurant and shops, menues, displays, China towns etc.

My daily challenge is how to get my kids out of bed, feed them breakfast, get them to dress, wash and pack their school bags and drop them off at school before the bell rings. Chump Change is a fun chunky serif ALL CAPS display font. I wanted it to look blocky and loud, So it can scream from Posters and Headlines. It has over 300 glyphs, several variations on the standard alphabet and all those extra pesky foreign features. OpenType coded, it has various letter pairings that interlock automatically to create a more randomized, bespoke feel to your copy. Change Serif is a typeface family designed as a part of Mateusz Machalski's PhD project, carried out in 2015-2021. The main goal was to create a typeface allowing for the typesetting of complex humanistic texts, containing many historical letterforms. The starting point was the preparation of most of the glyphs provided in unicode for Latin, Cyrillic and Greek. From the formal point of view, the Change family is based on Renaissance proportions with contemporary details. Classic upright version is paired with expressive and calligraphic italics, inspired by the works of Robert Granjon. Each of the styles contains about 4,000 characters, allowing for a broad range of typesetting capabilities – multiscript publications, historical translations, and texts transcription. The crucial aspect was to treat all scripts equally. All OpenType features, such as swashes, final forms, decorative ligatures, can be found in Latin, Cyrillic and also Greek. The name of the typeface refers to the design process in which there are constant changes and corrections. On the other hand, it means to convey how this project influenced my perception of typography and allowed me to embrace it as a medium of artistic expression. Due to its similar proportions, Change works perfectly with the Gaultier typeface.

Changing Times JNL was inspired by the hand lettering on the cover of the 1929 sheet music for "Wedding Bells (Are Breaking Up that Old Gang of Mine)". While the font’s name is an extremely vague reference to the subject of the song itself, it also represents the fact that the lettering style (still reflecting some Art Nouveau influence) welcomes the dawning of the Art Deco movement with the thick-and-thin line letter forms. The type design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

General Chang JNL is one of a number of fonts redrawn by Jeff Levine from the creative output of the late Alf R. Becker. Becker's alphabets were a monthly feature of Signs of the Times Magazine from the 1930s through the 1950s. It gets the tough jobs done in half the vertical space with its sturdy, low profile. Randy Newman may not care for it, but Squat shows that short fonts got plenty of reason to live! So there.

As most stencil fonts look very masculine and aggressive, Sra. Stencil was a challenge to create a stencil font with feminine personality.

Buntisland (we wonder where we came up with that name from... another subconscious whim), is Greater Albion Typefounders blackletter release for Christmas 2016. The family consists of four typefaces- regular, weathered, shaded and shadowed, and has it's origin in a design challenge which came up in conversation, as all the best ones do. In this case it was 'design a legible all capitals black letter...' Challenge accepted and completed!

Wilderness X is a font name that has a very wide wilderness concept. This font has a very large variety of characters, including isolated characters with strong definition and small text. It is also a font which can be used as a random display font. There are also many other options, such as: different stroke thickness and size, change the glyphs and so on A wilder a wilderness, the more rewarding the journey...I love the idea of exploring and staying on the edge, getting dirty and making my path is challenging. Wilderness X is not a bland font but has a bit of badness in it which makes it more interesting and attractive.
