caslon (114) - Abstract Fonts

I checked and learned that Burger King is not handing out Whoppers for free. I also learned that General Motores made it clear that cars have to be paid for. Even Microsoft made clear that Vista is not a freebee. So, if you want the Caslon - which one? - ... go here or there. The lower case is the Polonaise Bold. The capitals are the Caslon 540Swash, fancied up a bit. - re: Please ID...

Hello. This is the font used in "Wallpaper" for their main articles: http://home21.inet.tele.dk/doggy82/wall.gif Looks like Caslon - exept for the ligature. Anybody know the name of this font? ART is the Benguiat Book. That b, as is, I can't trace. But it might be a modification, in which case I would opt for Bitstream's Caslon No.224 Book. But I wouldn't bet on that. No way.

Hi, I am trying to recreate this logo in high resolution: [img:1249212b90]http://www.adventurefan.de/birdseed/font1.jpg[/img:1249212b90] In order to do so, it would be best to have access to the font used in the original logo. I seem to have identified the font as "MVB Celestia Antiqua". [img:1249212b90]http://www.adventurefan.de/birdseed/font2.jpg[/img:1249212b90] Unfortunately, that seems to be a rather expensive commercial font. Now my question: Is there perhaps a free font that looks similar to Celestia Antiqua? I have already found "Caslon Antique" to look similar, but if you know of any better option, please let me know :) Regards, Chris - Alternative to Celestia Antiqua
