 How and where do you add one of these fonts to AIM, so I can type type with new ones instead fo the ones they give you?

Yeah, it seems weird that you have over 400 members and almost nobody posts. You as the administrator only have 130 posts, on my board I have 250 members and me and another member have over 1,000 each.

the past attemt to put a "general chat" board kinda didnt work... so i assume ppl are here just for identifying and looking for fonts... so that's why i didnt bother with other boards.

It was uploaded by one of our users. The preview is auto-generated but adjustable. No need to call anyone names.
If you would have filed out the font file fields appropriately your name would have showed up in the details instead of the font creator's default "initial release Typeface © (your company)"
Is your homepage really dafont.com? Have you created any other fonts? I will add "Kirk Shelton" as another designer.
Again, glad that you took time to post, but please don't be rude before you get to the bottom of the issue.

First off i just got a new comp with windows xp, my last OS was windows ME and I could add fonts and they would show up in every program... Now when i add fonts to my windows fonts folder they never appear an any programs...not a one!! Im getting mad please i need a solution!
I make websites so having fonts is important and this is my fav place to go for fonts but its no good to add fonts when they dont show up in programs such as banner designers photoshop, and even microsoft word!!
Please help me getting mad and desperate

Alex' timezone is EST, thus 6 hours behind Italy. Also Alex has more things to do - like making a living - than only watching this forum. And Alex likes fishing so is not always behind the screen. All in all it depends on the time (your time) of uploading and Alex seeing it. When uploading it is always better to also add a comment so that Alex actually sees that a font has been uploaded.
Normally a new upload, a font or a bat, gets approved within 24 hours but as you can see from the above, sometimes it can take longer. I figure you deleting your first post with the (huge) pict of a foot did not help speeding up the process ...

I created most of these categories 10 years ago, when i was still a programmer kid who hasn't been around fonts too much.
Later there was a designer who suggested some of the categories, such as industrial, which i wasnt clear about but was convinced that it was needed.
I can always add/remove/rename categories, just like i recently renamed "Smooth" into less ambiguous "Rounded". If you have any suggestions i will always listen.
dafont's categories are flushed out more under a few headers making it easier to find a category but it has many annoying limitations which i tried to avoid on abstract fonts. For example on dafont, a font can only belong to one category, which is a HUGE downside in my opinion. Having font in multiple categories allows a visitor to find very specifically categorized fonts, such as only Sans fonts that also have Hearts.
Having this many fonts without this ability to recursively restrict categories will force you to go through all sans fonts and hope that they have some fonts that have hearts and then go through all hearts since some of the sans fonts could have gone under that category because they had hearts in it.
So what i am saying is Abstract Fonts has a better system but it may not be used to its full capacity. If you have ideas of how to rename some categories, delete others or create new please post here or email me. That goes for you kkat too, if you have an opinion.

well my family's computer is horrible, and it blocks everything imaginable when i try to download or add programs...i'll be getting my own in a year or so, so i suppose i could just wait...

I found this font style on website and liked it, but i can't actually find the font file anywhere. If anyone could identify it's name i will probably be able to find it. If anyone could also direct me to a website containing this font, i would also be very grateful. Yours, Nick. (PS-Thanx)
