1 posts view forum post #17166 Looks like Stone Sans, but no blueprint lines, also the "a' is kinda different...
2 posts view forum post #27107 ? Hi Guys, great site, hope you can help. We've used Stone Sans as our corporate typeface for a few years and while we love it, we would like to use a new typeface for our new ID. We love the sans serif nature of Stone while still having some variation in line width and unique shapes like the lower case 'k'. Can you guys recommend or suggest any alternatives that we should try. We are a design studio so want something fresh, but not too modern that it looks like we've just graduated and don't know type yet! Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

1 posts view forum post #25028 Hi, first guess: Stone Serif with modified P (*): http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/itc-stone-serif/ (*) I consider the P modified because it looks very ill and unshaply. Bye bye

1 posts view forum post #26010 uploaded image Hi, the typeface/font is neither Royal Acidbath nor Rolling Rocker. First guess: Somebody (IMHO less talented) used to recycle the letters of the logo from the Rolling Stone Mag and added the missing letters. Read about the designer Jim Parkinson: http://www.ascendercorp.com/catalog/foundries/parkinson/ http://new.myfonts.com/newsletters/cc/200804.html Logotype available: http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/logo/rolling-stone-magazine http://seeklogo.com/rolling-stone-magazine-logo-119550.html The small letter o is placed exactly on the baseline. That's wrong. It's should be placed aprrox. 5% of it's hight below the baseline. I don't think that a real typedesigner will made such a mistake. Bye bye
