Sticks was originally designed as a custom logo for a sour gummy candy. It was then expanded to a full font, with numbers, symbols, foreign accents, and even a few ligatures. An all caps font, the capital letters are even more capital than the lower case capital letters. As a bold font, it's ideal for parties, flyers, greeting cards, posters, headlines, and snipes. Stack brings the spirit of industrial chimney lettering from the early twentieth century to the digital age. The typeface is designed to work both horizontally and vertically. Additionally, the fonts can work together in myriad chromatic expressions—providing limitless design possibilities. The family is true to the spirit of masonry lettering without being a direct lift of any specific lettering style from the industrial age. Like some of its masonry predecessors Stack is built as a typeface of 15 courses (horizontal rows) of ‘bricks.’ Based on several years of research a collection of 150+ photographs and roughly two dozen archival engineering drawings were amassed. The value of the historical references is a type family that is a legitimate reflection of masonry lettering styles of the period. In updating Stack for the digital age, the proportions of the base-unit ‘bricks’ and the thickness of ‘mortar’ joints have been optically adjusted to work in both screen-based and print media. Stack would not have been possible without the research and design input from Craig Welsh and Jenna Flickinger of GoWelsh.

Let Me Call You Sweetheart was one of the most popular songs of the early 20th Century, and a piece of vintage sheet music for this tune had its title hand lettered in a square, narrow block lettering style. The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast is a 70's concept album/rock opera by Deep Purple's Roger Glover. The music video to Love Is All, featuring a lute playing frog in a cape, must be one of the best videos ever made. At least, I believe so. When working on this font, the song popped up in my head (it is still there), so I decided to name this cute, cartoonish font after the album. Butterfly Ball is a fun and happy typeface with rounded glyphs and an uneven baseline. Of course it comes with a hallucinatory range of diacritics.

Andes, designed by Daniel Hernández, is a display typeface that has neo-humanist characteristics. Its different terminals, among other elements, give it a look of mixed typography. Andes is a typeface with 10 Upright weights, 10 Italics & Condensed version , ranging from Ultra Light to Black, each of the same x-height. Bell is a facsimile of the typeface cut originally for John Bell by Richard Austin in 1788~ using as a basis the matrices in the possession of Stephenson Blake & Co. Used in Bells newspaper~ The Oracle~ it was regarded by Stanley Morison as the first English Modern face. Although inspired by French punchcutters of the time~ with a vertical stress and fine hairlines~ Bell is less severe than the French models and is now classified as Transitional. Essentially a text face~ the Bell font family can be used for books~ magazines~ long articles~ etc.

Vallely is a classic art-deco-ish serif that are inspired by the old typography/letterings used in packaging labels and advertisements. Galle is a very distinctive and specific typeface. It has 356 glyphs that are coherent in their own way. We have two versions to use: regular and italic. It is a display font with very characteristic letters, each of which has been developed separately, but in such a way as to match the rest of the typeface. The inspiration taken to design the cut is Sri Lankan typography - a lot of squiggles and sharp edges, hence the name of one of the prettiest and atmospheric cities in Sri Lanka - Galle.
