The nearest I can find in my Jaspert is Marso Grotesque.
Note the tails on the S and G, also hoe the middle horizontals are thinner and how the top of the E is shorter than the rest.
I'm lost totally.
For the time being i'm going to use Ariel.....

You want a full unicode font like the Ariel Unicode MS. See this: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?fmid=1081
I think it came with Windows XP, not sure though. Beware this Arial version is 23 Megabytes!

[quote:e9f2756642="alex"]it is possible to embed, just be careful about the size of the font. For example, arial and few others because of their rich international and unicode character support are larger than 200KB.[/quote:e9f2756642]
But who would want to embed the Ariel?
[quote:e9f2756642="alex"]Add that to the page size... On top of that, not all fonts can be embeded as set by the designer... Unless you get software that can edit those properties.[/quote:e9f2756642]
Which of course you should not do. If the copyright holder does not allow embedding you should respect that. As we respect Alex's wish to not to make commercial fonts available for free in this forum by submitting a link to an open directory. Altough sometimes it is tempting ...
Yet, even if you would remove the embedding restrictions then still succes is not granted. WEFT3 may work - no guarantee - with IE. But that's about it. Read all you can about embedding and learn that it is (still) a wet dream. Ever wondered why (hardly) anyone is applying WEFT? But uses Flast instead? Maybe - hopefully - one day it will become a standard. Maybe I'll live to see that happen. I doubt it.
If, however, your site is for a small community only - family, friends - you could make the font(s) available on your site for download and ask your visitors to install and reload the page. Dumb. True. But then at least you know it will work. But then avoid using commercial font versions. You would be breaking copyright rules. Use a freeware font. Success.

Dear Big,
1. Firstly, thanks for Urwood link, that?s great.
2. Secondly, RE FONTMAGIC. I did what you said, and found the
Regsvr32.EXE file and clicked on it. It stated it was regd or whatever, and I then
rebooted. Unfortunately, when I tried to get the wizard to work it gave the same page
fault as before. If it is any help, I include the text of the error message below:
?FONTMAGIC caused an invalid page fault in module FONTMAGIC.EXE at

So if you can figure it out I will be much obliged.
3. Tried to send you an email like you said, but your address is blocked on the
forum. Thanks for trying to help anyway. Seems like you are the ?Caped Fontsader?.
You are allways helping other people on the forum. Would have got back sooner, but
you know, Christmas, away time, etc.
4. Also, can you tell me how to turn on the font display in Word so that it shows
the actual font and not just the name? And finally, I installed a TTF called Abilene, a
capital only Western font. For some reason, this is now the default font in some
displays in Explorer. How can I specify Ariel as the default font for all displays?
5. Best wishes for the New Year to you and yours.
