It’s okay, Raymond.
You know, we have that question here much to often. See, some designers offer their creations as freefonts, some as shareware, some as donationware. This things you’ll get at abstractfonts. Here.
Professional designers live by designing typefaces, as bakers live by creating bread. Or as graphic designers live by designing beautiful logos or printproducts. So it would be fine if we all would give them a small refund for using their creations. Most of them are worth it.
Just a thought.
Have a nice weekend, Raymond

Hello everybody
Please help and thanks.
When we designing a font into character set Such as MS Windows 1252 Western (ANSI) or Mac OS Roman, we only find maximum 256 readable characters default. In this case I have a problem about standard limit amount of characters when designing expandable font (like pro font). I just know that it was related with more world's language exclude Latin 1. But may native language is Indonesia and a few bit English :-D.
I was received recent info about Characterset MILE v1.1,for solve the problem. But it is really blind to me.
So I would like to know about character set MILE v1.1, where I can get it and how to install in fontlab5. (it is not default on fonlab).
Thanks for help and sorry for my ignorance.
Best regards.

Alex,
As one of the writers who works for Ed at Inb0x, I want to personally thank you for devoting the time and effort that you did to investigating and getting to the bottom of this, and for keeping an open mind until the facts were in. It's a mark of true class.
And for the record, Abstractfonts rocks. I happen to love fonts to the point of designing my own, and this forum is a great resource! I'm thrilled that my research for posting elsewhere led me here.

Just responding because you asked what we like.
For me it's kewl to find these free fonts because I'm designing a CD cover and we are all poor muso composers with very little cash.
THanks

Hello everybody. I'm looking for a a kind of splattery, (fiery?) brushed-looking looking font like this red Z in the background. Anything close would work, it's for a t-shirt I'm designing. Any suggestions? Thanks guys (and cats)

Kat - okay to go back and lick a paw or two or three...
Joe - the font you had was NEVER free. You swiped it from somewhere - probably your job at the paper or publishing house.
The font is still not free - I suggest you look at the san serif faces here and find one that is more to your budget - like FREEWARE.
Good luck - you are so lucky you are not limited as in the old days.... there are many faces out there - more than most typography shops ever had in their libraries - keep designing...
