let's try to make an excuse in cis terms:
'viking' is just a pointer to the real viking particularly the ability to use the real viking's the eye function to interpret particular, and often peculiar, image patterns.

heeey, i think the buffer is the problem... I think it has to be initialized to the length of bufsize and then you pass a pointer to it in the 2nd GetGlyphOutline call. because if you make the bufsize=0 or buffer=NULL the function will return the needed size without trying to fill the buffer ( since it is NULL )

I am looking for a font with a sliced 0 like used in certain computer related area's, like this Ø ( but then a real 0 )
Preferably something roughly in Arial style.
Anyone having a good pointer?
