I am looking for a font that looks like a child has written it in chalk. Does anybody know of a font or fonts like this. I can find plenty of fonts that look like kids writing but none with the chalk effect. Thanks for the help
Kind Regards

Heron is right. This is surely a plugin effect. If you don't care about the geometrical shape of the effect but just want this type of shape, Glass Houses maybe something for you.

I need help. The font used on video boxes on the back, where is says "A film by ... Starring ... "...." Edited by ... Music by ..." you know what I mean. The writing is kind of squashed together. Is this a actual font they used for this effect, and what is the name of the font. Or if it is just a normal font with a effect to it I'd like to know.
Thanks

I stumbled across this effect whilst trying to create a rock effect for a customized fan-font for the new Alcatraz TV series it looked so much like burnt and charred letters on a piece of paper hence the name.

Toni,
The line below use to be down in a way called Handlettering with French Curves, Rapidograph pens, steady hands and a lot of time and effort.
To achieve this same effect today, most can use a program called Adobe Illustrator - outline the type and pull, stretch, add, take away points till they get the desired effect.
Corel and Photoshop are paint programs -- Illustrator is just what it says it is - illustration. And it comes with wonderful filters - including perspectives - like above.

This military stencil font looks like it's been spray-painted with a dripping effect. Or do you think the dripping effect is applied to the font itself? What font is this?
