zang, that is basically it, near perfect. O is different but I imagine that's more about the neon and some stylistic license.

I found a couple that were similar in many ways (Josephine, Frank Gorshin) but not close enough.
This is a motel from Doo-wop era, not that it helped me when searching for a font match.
any help greatly appreciated!
