Hi,
URW-Garamond is free (AFPL) in these 4 flavours. See the packages urwfonts* on:
http://www.artifex.com/downloads/
Read more about the license here:
http://www.artifex.com/downloads/doc/Public.htm
@Mod: It's really legal. There is no need to delete this link.
Bye Bye
Hey there. The URW Garamond is only available in Postscript and some other Adobe format. How can I use them without having intensive PostScript or LaTeX knowledge?
Hi,
there a two versions:
PS-Type1: urwfonts_t1-1.40.tar.bz2
as you can see by the "t1" in name
Truetype: urwfonts-1.41.tar.bz2
as you can see by no tt[f] in the name
*scnr*
7zip and a lot of other freeware archiver should be able to expand *.tar.bz2.
Bye Bye
Thanks so much! I didn't see the difference between the downloads. All my problems are now solved!

Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone knows of a free (preferably open-source) font very similar to Garamond? I am specifically looking for a font with proper Bold, Italic, and Bold-Italic versions.
All possible suggestions are more than welcome.
Thanks so much!
Etienne
