Hi,
it's might be modified by hand see the different shapes of the letters A, E, S ... I guess that the outline was added by hand. The base was a 1960th or earlier (french or traditional) grotesque. It`s no Helvetica Condensed (see the letter R) or Hanseatic (Swiss 924 BT is to condensed) but Franklin Gothic Condensed (EF or BT but not ITC) or something similar should work.
For a free font go the the abstract fonts categories and shop for a font that's sans and condensed.
Categories Sans -> Click at condesed
Categories Condesed -> Click at sans
I suggest a try with:

If you own a Corel Draw licence and the CD you could also have a look at the Franklin Gothic Condensed BT. But you would have no chance to avoid a lot of work. :-(
Bye bye
Wow, thanks for the great info!
Personally, I think this one looks pretty good:

I was just curious if there was a font made for it or something.
Thanks!
Hi,
I just found a font that's might have what you need to avoid a lot of work. It's from Vic Fieger and calles Single Sleeve.

I found it yesterday strolling around ...
Bye bye
It doesn't seem too complicated a font, but can anyone recommend a FREE font similar to the one used on the box art for "Rebel Without a Cause"?
Thanks
