Quick search suggests that you need to convert the ttf file into some other format to prevent piracy i'm sure.

hi koeiekat,
i used "Agency FB" and works fine,
i think the problem must be in the name of the font, i tried "PlanetEstyle", "Planet Estyle", "Planet Style" and nothing

just be careful not to use a commercial font then because anyone who would look at the source code would be able to download it for free from your site and that may get you in serious trouble

Case sensitive? PLANE___.TTF instead of plane___.ttf ?

Out of toughts.
Embedding never worked very well as you know. Otherwise it would be implemented all over the place - wouldn't it? I gave up long time ago.

I think fonts must conform to some kind of UNICODE, otherwise it will just be a graphic image. I too wanted to use some of the fonts for website development.Later realized that fonts without UNICODE may not be detectable to Search Engines. I am not sure... just an idea
