This download is only the regular typeface. The Garava family contains seven type styles: Regular, Italic, Bold, Bold Italic, Heavy, Small Caps and Small Caps Bold.

And I see some »famous« designs in your portfolio. Bauhaus, Ondine, Kabel, … In which way are these legal?

The copyright on the designs has expired.

Note that copyright on the Trueytpe font files lasts for much longer.

This is not a free license to modify copyright data in a font and replace it with your own, which is an illegal practice. You must make the fonts from scratch, and the design must be more than 25 years old.

... In Germany ... Were the typefaces designed by a Dutch designer the copyright - without the need for registration and/or trademarking - will last until 50 years after the death of the designer.

So be careful with making your own digital versions of those typefaces 'bought' by Linotype from the former Lettergieterij Amsterdam.
